Default Squeal when I turn on A/C?..

I hear a sqeal when I turn on the AC its kind of a churping sounds...anyone have some Ideas of what it could be? Thanks!!

Check the tension of the serpentine belt. It's not hard to tighten. Also, check the belt to see if it needs to be replaced.

Tighten your belt, had to do the same thing 3 days ago.

can someone post a tutorial on how to tighten the belt??
i had my belt replaced due to this reason..... as it was making sound even after greasing it...
since i have changed the belt my car has a lot of vibrations and my steering has become hard as i even changed the power steering belt!

when i turn on my ac, it sounds like my short ram intake is gasping for twice as much air. it doesnt bother me though..

Greasing it should make it squeal for sure.

more then 40K miles on the belt, replace it. Otherwise you will never get it tight enough to stop in the long term.
