Default thinkin about a trany swap, need some help!

so i've been talkin with a freind of mine about the 6speed trany swap for the xB/xA. was wondering if someone could help me out as to exactly what all i'm going to need in order to do the swap.

if i'm not mistaken, i'll need a AE111 6 speed trany. i've read theres a driffrence between the C160 and C60, which one will i need for a straight swap out? i'm aware of the small frame cutting needed to fit the bellhousing which will be reinforced after the job is done. what seals and such will need for this?

my needs are for both cruising and uphill climb with 1000+ extra lbs of weight. need to know what exactly i'm going to need and for those curiouse to do the swap them selfs, i will be posting an entire thread to the swap with a step by step journal to follow.

i have searched and thats what i've beena ble to find. but the problem i see is that his walkthrough is for the Echo and from what he's found is that they apparently have the C150 trany while we have the C50 and that a C150 and C50, while have the same gearing platforms, have diffrent boltings *i.e. 6 bolt for C150 and 8 bolt for C50*. this is why i'm trying to clure it all up. i'd like to know whats diffrent about an xA/xB swap comparedto the Echo swap and what's needed.

i was under the impression all you need to do is swap the bellhousings...
I was also under the impression you could simply use the c60 from the celica GTS/ corolla xrs...

hit up Wraith on echodrivers.com
i think he still even has some trannys for sale.
