Just for interests sake, are there any other xa or xb racing videos out there? Ive seen a cool one of an autox xa, but that and this are all Ive seen. Well, umm, ZPI's first vids of their turbo'd xb also, but that dont count.

worked just fine...thanks for looking out though. Dont be upset about it being an automatic and putting down the same numbers without spray
I never put down your car, nor did I talk about when your motor will blow. I dont care to be honest...what I do care about is when you come on here and try and start **** like you got elaphantitis of the ***** with one of my friends who is in a COMPLETELY different leauge then you...its a shame is what it really is.
Spawn...your taking this the wrong way...if you ever have any questions about going f/i dont hesitate to contact me...my pm box is always full and I always answer everything for anyone...regardless who it is. Hell, if blown_xA shot me a PM I would answer it as well. My problem is with people coming on here like they are Hercules, when in reality, they are nothing more than a lil Mighty Mouse

"I'm sorry, did you miss majority of honda's running near 12's or faster, with a streetable car? Majority of them started out as economy cars. "
Best quote..comparing an xa and an xb to a honda.

Logic is that my fastest time is 3 tenths within a claimed turbo'd T.C.'s time (Munch)......... That can be made up at the tree. What u guys don't know about me wanting to Race Munch.. is the repectful message i sent him right afterwards from the post. I have nothing against him or his car, I think it is a race people would like to see the result of. The "Call-Out" post is a front to get attention. Also, I DON"T TALK SHIZNAT, thalking shiznat is making claims and doing nothing to support them. I race. I back up what i say, that's all really.

And it's also funny cause numerious posts inquire that anything above 6psi of boost on the motor and u blow a rod within 12,000 miles. I'm hitting 11psi. Just goes to show u that lots of info on this forum is complete nonsense. WHEN U GUYS BLOW UP AN XA, LET ME KNOW, until then, then info u force upon me is crap.
an xA and an xB are the exact same mechanically. and I HAVE boosted a 1.5 before.......

oh and the whole 6 psi blowing is true it's not nonsense. a lot of peopel early on with 1nz's were blowing low because of detonation and preignition.... basically bad engine management....
Maybe i didnt read far enough to see that the reason they blew was because of managment, that is info i didnt know.. thanks for pointing that out. I am not crazy doing what i did to my car.. i am also taking much precaution. Hence the Alcohol, that is an excellent detonation supressor, it is awsome because after making a pass, my intake manafold is actually cool to the touch, an excellent intercooler. The Nitrous heats up the combustion chambers, the Alcohol cools them, a nice offset effect. And squezing power out of both.

Ive not read the post and I dont know munch or munch's car, but can he not be challenged to a race? And if he cant be challenged by an xa or blown_xa, then what are the qualifications for racing him? Seriously, I would like to know more about this.

you can put up a challenge but dont tell them to drive 500 miles to race you and here is the post https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=115536

Same concept, xa and xb are both light weight. Same weight comparison to the hatchback, civic coupes, del sol, and other honda's league. Of course there are major differences, but i came from honda and many would agree, there are a ton of similar features in terms of performance as a honda.

Blown, so now you are talking crap about an auto? Please, and you think the manual tranny doesn't get hot enough to make a three course meal after you make one pass with nitrous and boost?

And whats this about blowing motors? A ton of people have blown the 1nz with the box and xa for numerous reasons, most common is lack of a well tune and human error. You talk like your egg is the best xa in the world and can handle anything because you built it. I wish i lived near you so i could see how red your face gets when you blow the motor. Of course, you will be the type of person to say it wasn't your fault and start pointing fingers.

Bottom line? When you put down the xb, your just putting down the egg as well because theres no difference within the motor and tranny. And in terms of the automatic being able to cook some eggs afterwords. You must have some extreme tranny built up because thats a lot of talk over something you apparently don't know anything about. Oh wait, your tranny is 90% stock.

A manual transmission has no slipping parts like an automatic. it has syncros to direct gear engagement. An automatic has multile clutches and slippage bands to engae the gears, AS WELL AS a torque conveter in place of a clutch, the torque converter shares the transmission fluid of the transmission. When extreme load is applied the torque converter slips more than intended and overheats the fluid, thus possibly overheating the transmission. The clutch on a manual is totally seprate form the actual transmission function. But i guess i dont really know this cause this guys says i dont

I think he means, the set up won't last b/c as a auto you'll break the converters hence needing a new transmission. With a manual, you're 100% correct. Except you'll break gears or shafts which you'll have to replace. So in the long run, it's almost just as bad just not as expensive.

as long as the clutch is not too extreme u won't break the gears.. that's why i use the trd clutch

oh by the way a guy in my neighborhood has an echo with a nice turbo kit.. don't know what kind though. At Nopi last spring he put down 207 to the ground. his best time was a 13.7 i think he said. He did blow a motor a while back ( but i can perfectly understand that with that much hp) his tranny has been fine. His car has 90,000 on it about

Whoa...don't get me wrong dude, i know people, including myself with past cars that don't blow a tranny or even break a gear with almost double HP. But ..I was just clarifying what the guy meant.
