Built motor update(final Greddy results pg.3, img pg.4)
so with -2.6 degrees of negitive camber and 32psi of tire pressure I wasnt expecting spectacular 60 ft. times, I was right LOL.
But I pulled a 14.3 @ 99mph multiple times, I'm happy with that
.
I raced my friend Christina like 4 or 5 times, she has a worked over ZPI stage 1 kit running 10psi and our 3" exhaust. Im ____ed at myself for forgetting my video camera because our races were so awesome and close. She beat me all but one race but they were all so close it was fun, Her best time of the night was 14.18.
Ill post more tonight, and answer the question about the exhaust

The optimal set up would be to run a full 3" exhaust though, and if you can modifly the down pipe and make that 3" also... that would produce probably 10-15whp MORE than my exhaust set up. The down pipe is 2"..... that is really really small.

here is a company we get many exhaust fabrication parts from, you will need 2 or 3 J bends, a flex section, flanges, muffler, cat, .....
So I pretty much decided to install the nitrous kit I had on my car from a couple of years ago. I just want to set some crazy 1/4 mile times for fun. I just have to get another nitrous bottle, and nozzle. Every thing else I have.
I will start off with a 20 shot, which should be good for mid 13's. The power I am at now already exeeds what my clutch is rated for (running stock oem disc with TRD pressure plate), so im gonna test the waters with that for a while.
If all is well I will get a progressive controller and run a 50 shot ( may have to add an in-line fuel pump also) and go for 12 second passes. Im thinking the clutch will have to be upgraded at that point. I may even have to run a mixture of race gas, but this will all be for shizats and giggles.
Im not into drag racing, as it is not exciting to me compared to the twisties... but It is fun every once and a while to test out acceleration to the extreme
.
I still plan to do the larger turbo, but hey I have the nitrous kit and my curiousity exceeds my patience lol.

I was changing my oil and brake pads yesterday, and noticed my downpipe was cracked. Instead of welding the crack I decided to re-do the downpipe with 2.5" piping. I Utilized the upper cast portion, Turned out really nice. I will say, a definate increase in power over the 2" Greddy downpipe. If I were to guess, I'd say 7-10whp!!!
Ok today was a bit slow @ work, I went ahead and mounted an Evo intercooler. Relocated my meth pump to clear it as before it was where the intercooler would sit. I just ordered all the piping and couplers to do the job.
Considering Im seeing 280 degree charge air temperatures @ 20psi... and using the formula of every 10 degree drop equals a 1% gain, then I should be over 200 whp (considering the core is 100% efficient). On top of that we may be able to add more timing, so I think this will be a 200whp 220 torque setup... not to shabby for the tiny turbo. Plus im sure if I hopped on any other dyno I would be seeing 220-230whp.
I will post results after install and re-tune!!! No nitrous yet!!

Got everything wrapped up today with the intercooler set-up. Needs re-tune which I figured since the maf is in a different location (running 10.0 on boost). But even @ 16psi The intercooler was 100% efficient, charge temp was same as ambient temp (as opposed to 190 degree increase like before). I dont have a still camera but I will post up a video of new set-up. And also the dyno results when we get a chance to slap it back on the dyno and tune it.
190whp 222ft lbs ... 17psi. awesome. Couldnt hit 20psi probably because of the intercooler but its ok by me. At 17 psi before I was around 165whp & 190 torque. Also the air intake temperature didnt even creap 1 degree entering boost.
Car is wicked fast, MAJOR torque steer in 3rd gear, barely hanging on to traction with my good tires.
Another note.... I far exceeded what the TRD clutch was rated at, it was slipping on the dyno near peak torque tonight. Im going to save it for the 1st circuitcross @ VIR in Feb. Ill save $ in the meantime for a suitable clutch.
Conclusion, The Greddy kit is capable of a 100whp gain and 130ft lbs torque gain over stock with the right supporting mods... not too shabby.
