Default ECU Jet Chip for XB

I was just wondering if anyone knows if the jet performance chip for the Toyota Echo will fit the XB? If not, then does anyone know where to get a real performance chip and not the fake cheap ones on ebay?

They are all a bunch of crap all they do is fool your ECU into thinking that the air coming in to the engine is at 78 deg. so the ECU makes the fuel mixture stronger. Thats all they do nothing speacial they do not boost hp or give you more torq

Not only that X_treme, but you are reffering to the IAT 'chip'(resistor). This guy is asking about an ECU chip, which I would think plugs into the ECU, not the IAT.
I would like to know it there is an actual chip for the xB as well!

Put it where you want, but I still would like to hear from someone who can answer the question of wether or not the ECU would work. And x_rayted is right, im not talking about the resistors on ebay like I said in the first post. I am talking about the ECU chips which I know work from experience on a BMW my friend has. I just want to know if the echo one will work.

i dont think it would work, the echo ECU is much more primative than our ECU's, that is why its easier to work with the echo than with ours. our ecu is just to smart, and i dont know if it would hook up the same way, but i havnt seen the one ur talkin about. i would do a stand alone, but im broke, so i might get the echo ecu and retrofit it in my xA so i can mess with that one, hope it helps somewhat.
