Default How do I set up a Turbo on my 2004 Scion xB automatic trans?

I wanted to know what do I need to do in order to install a Turbo kit on my Scion xB. It has an automatic transmission so I'm also wondering if it will work.
If you know how to install a turbo on an automatic transmission please help!!! Please PM me.

I would recommend the Greddy kit that's what i have, and though mine is a 5spd I haven't had any problems to report, its a great kit, I have the whole setup with the intercooler and have been running it for almost 30000 miles, and I love it, btw you don't really need to upgrade the injectors if you only run the boost the turbo comes tuned with from the factory (4psi) parts are same except for the tuning of the emanage, as stated above

the GReddy turbo is ONLY available for the manual xB. and the S/C is only available for the automatic.

It must be a recent development with the auto xb greddy turbo kit not available anymore, it may have something to so with the ecu change in 06' not totally sure though, they did make one at one time though, HKS also makes one don't know if there is one for the automatic, although it is rated to produce less horsepower....good luck you may be able to find a used kit?

Actually that is incorrect. I had a Greddy charger on my manual transmission xB.

you can put either s/c or turbo on either auto or manual

it really makes no difference, GREDDY recommends which to use it with b/c of the performance increase is based on the auto or the manual
