DO YOU KNOW IF I WILL BE ABLE TO USE THE C/A INTAKE I HAVE ON NOW?
ANY PERSONAL EXP. WITH LIGHTWEIGHT CRANK PULLEY?
ARE YOU A FALCON FAN? I AM. BORN IN GA.
Don't much care for the Falcons. They are buch of overpaid underperforming little girls.

The A/C conflict comes into play with the relocated alternator. It moves down and forward.
I decided not to go with a lightened flywheel. Not very much gain and little return.
You will need to uprade the clutch. The stock one will not hold.

ANYONE HAVE ANY COMMENTS OR HELP.
I AM NEW TO F/I OBVIOUSLY. I WORK IN THE PARTS DEPT. AT A NISSAN VOLVO DEALERSHIP IN SOUTH FLA AND DONT KNOW MUCH ABOUT AFTERMARKET STUFF.

Thanks for getting rid of the all caps. And good luck with your Blitz S/C install. I believe you can still use your CAI with the Blitz.

I was able to use my AEM CAI no problem. The Blitz bolts to the back of the throttle
and the factory airbox or CAI bolts to the other side. Nothing changes location.

thanks baine; but this kit says you use original intake manifold so i am not understanding completly. doesnt the throttle body mount to the intake manifold. so i dont understand how two pipes connect to the t/b. is this the kit you are reffering to baine? or is this setup different? thanks for the help.

The Blitz comes with it's own intake manifold and it has piping that goes to the T/B.
You can use the factory intake or as I am doing you can use a CAI. I have the AEM
that looks like your hiding a python in the engine bay.

he's talking about the intake manifold.
Looks like the JDM Blitz kit retains the factory intake manifold as apposed to the U.S. version.
Looks cool!

Consult Blown_xA for install info, I have the Greddy so couldn't answer to that effect. The '06 needs a rewire for their piggyback but since you have an 04 you'll be fine. Use the stock pulley, I chewed up my Perrin, though that was with the stock roll pin.

Have you thought about a turbo? The Greddy, and from what I understand, the Blitz s/c will have belt squeal until the engine warms up. I did also have an issue with Greddy's belt tensioner setup, had to have a new custom bolt machined to fix it. Can't speak for the Blitz.

Oil check isn't a big issue, just need to find the right method and have smaller or skinny hands.

I can't find one specific to the xB (i.e. pre-tapped pan and lines cut to length). You'll have to get a universal fit and do your own plumbing. I've thought about doing this and an oil cooler as well. Would love to see an intercooler under the hood to make those damn scoops functional. I'll never understand why people put them on and leave them filled in, doesn't that just add drag. I know the reverse scoop ones are used for engine heat dissipation.

So i spent a couple of hours taking off my cai tonight and re-installing o/e air box. with lousy tools and strut bar in the way along with the car being lowered it really made things a little adventurous. had to pull lower pipe out of the bottom. thanks to strut bar. then didnt have the tool to take a/f meter off of pipe but found something to work. then the screws i used to hold a/f meter to pipe didnt fit o/e air box so i scrounged around to find something that would work.anyway after getting everything back in i decided to set up the piping to see what it looks like. so i will post a couple of pics. does anyone think i should or shouldn't use the tc injectors and the high flow fuel pump that came with kit? thanks i will send more pics when finished. oh yeah i am learning to read japanese instructions. ha ha.
