JDM BLITZ S/C KIT
Comments anyone? i cant wait. i hope i am not getting to hyped about it. at least it will look good with a little work?
paid $ 1500.00. if it works did i get a good deal? wiring looks like a headache getting into cabin. hope everything works out.

Looks good.
You have no idea how jealous I am that you found that supercharger at the price you got it for.
As far as I know you are supposed to be able to use just about any intake with the Blitz system as it keeps the throttle body in the stock location. The charge pipe (the one with the blitz logo on top of the supercharger) is supposed to go right to the throttle body. That is of course if you are running the supercharger using the BLitz setup and not going with a custom manifold.

thanks for the reply. yeah i think i can use any intake i just need to getthe right turns to get it out of the heat zone . i figure once i get everything worked out i can start to toy with that. yeah this is a jdm kit from japan computer even says bb on it . i hope i can get things going.
this is my opinion... but you said the plugs don't match up from ur vehicle to the JDM computer correct?? I would go ahead and buy an e-manage blue and get it tuned with that. just ground the wire that goes from the super charger pulley clutch ( an into cabin i believe it is blue?) so the clutch is engaged all the time, or wire it to a switch so u can disengage the clutch when vehicle is parked. You said you put the tC injectors in??? the tune on the jdm ecu will be far off anyways and there is not way to tune it. I would get the e-manage blue and the plug-n-play harness so it takes literally 5 minutes to connect.
you can get the harness and the e-manage at www.ptuning.com.

ok; yes i put tc injectors in. we spent the afternoon trying to wire in a camcon cc101 fuel management system. wil this one work or should i get the one you suggested? the insructions we were following were for us version blitz kit and camcon instructions(talk about confusing). we finally hooked up what we could definately find fron ecu schematic from toyota. we are not so sure which wires we connect to rpm+ and rpm- and also a/f from camcon unit. anyway we got the clutch engaging with switch like you said and took for quick test drive. sounds pretty mean.
we got tired and went home. i just had to try it one more time
and i dont know what happened exactly but i think tensioner bolt back off and belt came off and put a hole in a/c line.
the first test drive we heard a backfire and engine stalled. opened up hood and piping to throttle blew off.

put the belt back on and duct taped a/c line up for now so crap doesnt get in system. can i put loctite on tensioner bolt? man my car really sounds mean. cant wait to get wiring figured out and get it tuned. anyone know a good place in south florida(ft. lauderdale).
Titan Motorsports is in Tampa I think. They are the only ones I know of in Florida that
deal with Blitz. They helped me over the phone during my install. They may know
some one in your area. Google them to find their web site.

Slow down. The engine will run with the OE ECU. You do not need any other electronics, just some premium gas, 91 or better........
Install 1 thing at a time & make sure the big hardware works first. Some will tell you that the OE ECU will run too lean - if so it will give you a code ( the reality is it will run on the lean side but that is part of the design & unless you are racing the car - no harm, no foul ).
The camcon is a nice unit but the Emanage may be a better choice than using any of the electronics that you have. Why? It's a direct plug & play.
If you plan on racing this car, then now might be the time to get the electronics ( that you have ) figured out. If the car will be a DD, as blown xa says, go for the Emanage & save some headaches.

ok so if i am only using as a dd i dont need the camcon. i really dont want to spend much more money if i dont have to.does the emanage and camcon serve the same purpose?
thanks guys for all your help.

Is there another ECU that you got with this buy?
The CamCon is not the same as the Emanage. The big thing is you don't have the wireing diagram for it. Both of these units are not necessary at the moment. Get everything else working properly first. At that time you can make a judgement as to the purpose & need for what the car wants to be.
Over the years I'v built & over built street cars that were hard to drive, as a DD, not as much fun as they should have been but they were very fast... way too fast for a DD.
Bottom line, you should be able to get everything running very well without much outside help ( just take your time ). As you add more keep this thread going & the knowlege base, HERE, can help with the project.
I'm confident that you can do a fine job with this install without using any of the electronics.
The OE ECU will do a pretty good job of adapting to what it sees. Just remember you can't run the snots out of it for long periods of time without more engine management.
Best of & keep us posted

thanks steve. a ecm did come with it but connectors are all different from oe unit. it says 1.5 l bb on the ecm with a white cord coming out of it. says plug yellow cord coming from activation box into it. but nothing else will plug in.
so we started following instructions from cancom unit but the terminology doesnt match with the toyota ecu wiring scematic. compressor is working with manuall switch for now but seems strange when letting off throttle. we did bypass activation box for now because clutch was not activating before. would you use loctite omn adjustment bolt? we are almost there just a few more wires connected to the right places. a/f signal, rpm+ rpm- and the vvti signal.

Use loctite where you want something to never move. I don't use it very often, only for extreeme cases.
As long as you know which wires go where, keep on trucking. There is a post somewhere, here, that has the OE wireing & everything else XB related - you may find it usefull.

does the activation box de-activate the clutch when you release the throttle. like i said before we connected clutch straight to switch and when i let off throttle is sounds as if it is down shifting. so i am just flipping switch off when letting off throttle.i am figureing stuff out as i go.pipes seem to kep coming loose maybe i need stronger clamps. engine does seem to bog down at full throttle. running to rich? tc injectors and hi flow fuel pump are in.
