You would think but you can never make up for the stress it puts you through. Trust me I know cuz I was in a similar situation with them.

got it back today.... not what i expected... but shes home... just have 2 get her running normal today... the car is absolutely obnoxiously loud... it is just straight pipes from the header back... it kickes up CEL and VSC lights like its her job, and bogs down under aceleration... heres a pic.. i got a long day ahead of me tomorrow.. installing some parts to make her run mint again... im actually looking for someone that could help check it out and help fix the problems.. but anyways.. whatcha think of her? im in love all over again, and totally forgot how she handled!

 

 

Get the exhaust back on it and that should make a big difference - keeps the fresh air from going back up the header pipe and confusing the O2 sensors.

 

well ive been working on the car all day and im finally getting it back to normal... i got all the codes to go off... misc stuff was and is still going wrong... the car bogs and is most likely because there are tc injectors and a fuel rail spittin fuel to my huge 1.5 liter...

i did install some ksport coilovers i managed to snap from zpi be4 my car was sent out... if anybody has knowledge on how to adjust this suckers i would appreciate it... i just kinda winged it... i just need a new grill, underglow and a new exhaust system and everything should be fine... heres a pic of her after i took her off the lift... what do you think?



btw does anybody kno where i can score a perrin intake for cheap? also a b-cool billet grill set?

only updates i have right now is the box is stiting in 10 inches of snow with a nice cover keeping her warm.... she got parked right after i got a 500 dollar ticket for exhaust noise (which they refused to test), illegal tints (which i know for a fact mine are 35%) and turn signals ( i have stupid red led turnsignals instead of the oem amber color) so shes parked.... till i get money to get a new exhaust for her... im thinking magnaflow catback.. but i need the entire stock piece from the header to the cat at least.

 

ne1 want a full 3" race exhaust with a titanium canister for real cheap? just need to weld in a cat and youll be goldi

 

Pete, don't let the man bust you illegal exhaust. I know in MD, you can take it to the MVA/ State Police and get them to test it. I don't even have my exhaust on my car anymore... though my O2 sensor fell out last night so I have an 1" sized hole in my exhaust... damn Midas...
