Hey Billy chime right in, what was going on with only getting 3000 rpm that's what mine was or is doing, it gets to 3000 and falls dead on it's face. just curious what you all did. It's not right yet but it should be 110 % by the end of the week

Thanks to Travis, we figured out it was in limp home mode. So by process of eliminiation, we removed the emanage and reset the EFI fuse and what do you know. No CEL and it runs past 3000rpms. I just can't run very far cause it blows so much smoke, but it definately boosts.

Thanks for the info, hopefully the shop that has my car will figure that 1 out if not I'll have to bring that up too them, I had a bad plug and play harness that Greddy is going to replace and if everything works out I should have a video of the dyno tune by the end of this week.

Ladies and Gentlemen, if I can call you that. We have boost.

After several days surfing the internet, calling people, IMing people and serveral nights working in the dark, My car can make it to the auto parts store 1 mile away ROFL.

Thanks to the guys at ZPI, and to the ZPI fan club, you know who you are.

Here is what went wrong and what we did to fix it.

Too much oil in the turbo: Crack in oil pump repaired.
Little bit too much oil in the turbo, blowing by into exhaust: Reinserted oil regulator.
CEL coming on: checked all wires going to E-manage and reset CEL light by pulling EFI Fuse.

I Will keep you updated and if you have any questions feel free to let me know.

Oh and if any companys have some parts they want tested, I am open to the idea.

No wonder I could never get in contact with Kenny, Joyce always says he's on the phone with another customer. Maybe now I can talk with him since you're done now LOL. great posts keep up the good work.

Couple updates.

I still have some spotting of oil, so I am going to IM Ken and see where he recommends the regulator to be. That and my car needs a good tune. How do I know? Rich as hell. In fact I had 2 codes come on.

P0172: Fuel Trim System Rich Bank 1
P0420: Catalyst System Low Efficiency
The second code is caused by the fact that my rear o2 sensor is in front of my Cat thanks to the relocation.

I am probably going to be taking it to a shop called
Chad Block Racing Development Speed Factory in York, PA. Chad is supposed to be getting back with me to figure out when to come up for a dyno test and tune.

I also decided to try to neaten things up when I was at work, and build an accually bezzle for my guages (though I only have the boost one in at the moment). This was done using Black Plexiglass. I am a big fan of being stealth and have things look factory so this is the reason why I installed it this way.

The Engine bay:

ECU and e-manage (behind glovebox)

P0172 will probly never go away...thats from the larger injectors...I had the same code on my xB when I slapped the T20 on it. Its better to be rich than lean though hahaha. I grew accustomed to my CEL's on the box, I knew they were never going away lol, but the only code it ever threw was the P0172. You can only erase the codes so much till eventually you get tired of doing it and just leave them on....its a hard code too so its probly setting off your VSC and traction light as well right?

Yea well i'm take it to York and get it test and tuned to hopefully take care of the super rich condition.

I just picked up some anti foulers at Advance and while i was there I pulled codes again and only this time got the 172 and a P0133.: Slow o2 responce bank 1 sensor 1

I sent him a brand new Primary O2 sensor.. that I never got to put on when I had the kit.. so if that one goes.. he is all good. But if the 2ndary one goes.. well then thats a different story..

thats very nice of you my man
Well, bank one is gonna be his primary so thats gonna be where his problem lyes...the secondary is gonna go eventually as well being that it is before the cat and all the unburnt gas and oil is gonna cause it to get washed out sooner or later...gotta love the ups and downs of boosting a car that was n/a from the factory

Ah this was enjoyable.
I was driving to my GFs and was following an 18 wheeler getting off a ramp. He was driving very slow so I went around him. I dropped back to third wound it out 4, and 5 letting nice loud PSH off each time. All the sudden this G6 comes flying up the other lane, revs runs up ahead of me, the guy in the passenger seat looks back at my car, then drop back with this very confused expression on his face. the G6 lets back down then rev up again and looks at me and was like was that you? So i just hit the gas in 5th gear enough to build boost and let off then driftted back. So then he starts Reving and jumping back and forth like he was trying to race, I rolled down my window and was like It's not tuned yet! The passenger shruged and drove off.

Priceless.
