first off, i have a 2004 scion xb release 1.0...

i have a junk cd player that i removed and swapped in a replacement factory cd player that came from a 05 scion Xa i believe, i got it from a junkyard. anyways, i wired it up and it works, but the metal mounting bracket that was on the junkyard cd player does not fit into the dash of my Xb. i do not have the original factory radio from my Xb so i don't have the mounting bracket either. i need to know where i can guy one. mounting brackets for aftermarket cd players are easy to come by, but never had to hunt down a factory one. i bet the stealership won't sell it with buying the whole radio, lol

anyone know where i can get one, or maybe have one from your factory deck that you aren't using?

 

Post in the Wanted section, or call that Junkyard back and see if they can get you some, any xB1 will work

BTW all of the Double DIN Mounting kits available use those metal brackets, so they won't work for you.

i don't think i can post in the classifieds section, it said i had to have 50 posts! regardless, i got the brackets at the stealership for the low low price of $38 (what a deal)
