Default Aftermarket steering wheel.

Ok,

I am in the market for an aftermarket steering wheel. Would like one with a quick release. Any threads available to educate me on what exactly I need (and need to do to install it?).

I searched, but didn't find a lot of detail on exactly what I need.

Thanks!

I just recently did this not to long ago basically all you need to but is a steering wheel hub, steering wheel, and quick release. to remove i would highly suggest getting a steering wheel removal kit. you can pick one up at pep boys

Those are the right components you'll need. To get the old one off you'll need a screwdriver (phillips) and a 19mm socket preferably attached to a breaker bar but a large socket wrench will do. You dont need a steering wheel removal kit at all. Just wiggle the wheel and it comes right off...

Check out pricing from Adam @ Weksos. Here's a link...

If your new steering wheel has a horn button you can keep the horn. You just have to fish through the wiring harness to pull out the two horn leads. Shouldnt be that hard. I didnt bother with mine. Im not a fan of using the horn...
