for you guys who have re wrapped the headliner what kind of glue or spray or whatever actually worked well for you?? *already have headliner out so ready to go*

 

There is a spray adhesive that is designed for headliners.

It will say "suitable for automotive headliners" on the can.

 

Whats the best material?

 

wow i had no idea milfhunter would own a scion, lol, i would say suede

 

I want suede myself...

 

Just about any material will work... but you don't want anything too stiff. Also, make sure that it's thick enough that you won't get any glue seeping through.

Try 3M Super 90 or contact cement.

 

we tried using the 3m stuff and it didn't really hold to good. i have my car done with suede. we used a contact glue that we shot out of a "paint gun" if you are goin to use spray can kind, go get loctite one. best stuff out for what your looking to do.

All the pillars and headliner are wrapped in suede.

how hard was you door panels

 

This is what I used. Worked great. Go to any good apholstery (spelling) shop and check out all the options. I went with a copper and black suede like material. It was kinda thick but stretched a little.

Make sure you have a buddy help lay it down. It makes it alot easier. and wor from the center out towards the doors. Small sections at a time
