Default Blew a fuse... WTF?!?!

So my xB is bone stock. Not a single modification. Actually, I did remove the emblems from the back, but I doubt that's impacting the fuses...

Anyway, this morning, I went to unplug my iPod charger and plug in my cell phone charger (btw, only one power outlet in this thing could be it's biggest flaw...), and when I plugged in my cell phone charger, something blew. Radio and power outlet are now useless...

Any idea why this happenend? Should I be taking my car in, or just replacing the fuse myself?

Oh, and any info on where the fuse is, and whether or not there are spares would be fantastic!

The fuse is located under the dash behind the little cubby. I had the happen before I wouldn't be concerned until the next fuse blows. I believe its a 10a or 15a.

I had something similar happen - or so i thought... my ac invertor, that is plugged into my cig lighter, stopped working! i suggest taking it out and putting it back in a couple of times - like up to 10 times. if this doesnt work, then yeah, change the fuse ;]

in my case, i didnt have to change the fuse. for some reason, my stupid inverter stops working and to get it working again, i gotta pull it put and put it back in in some funky directions....

half assed - if you ask me.

I think that has something to do with the quality of the plug on the inverter as well as the shotty design of our cig. lighter. I know my lighter doesn't even work anymore and my phone charger/inverter work 50% of the time.

it's fuse #24 below the left side of the dashboard...i bought a 'good for nothing' cigarette lighter inserted air inflator from NAPA this past weekend to put air in my tires.

After about 1 minute, it stopped inflating and found out it blew the 15 amp fuse (which disabled the radio and the power mirror control---everything else worked, thank God!).

Bought a packet of 5 fuses for $2.98 at the same NAPA store, really felt like saying they should have given me those fuses for free (btw, got my refund on that air inflator)...

Yeah, i bought some of the fuses and replaced it, everything works.

That's just a pretty crappy setup... blowing a fuse through normal use of the cigarette lighter? That's terrible.
