Can some1 tell me what Cathodes are. And are they legal to put in your car (i live in NY but im moving to MA soon). Any information on cathodes would be nice. ie -how to install them, do they get hot, how much do they cost etc.

yeah, they dont make orange cathodes.

 

Just buy white and paint them orange!

 

Get red cold cathodes that have a clear case, they will look orange. I have five sets, so I know the glow color very well.

Could someone clarify the legal issue. I can't imagine a cop could pull you over for something they can't see....but I WOULDN'T BE SURPRISED!

 

You can mount blue cold cathodes on the dash, in visible sight from the front, and they would be completely legal, even on public roads.

That's in GA, other states usually are consistent with our laws.

Not in Cali., blue lights in visable view would get you busted for impersonating a cop.
