In-Dash Audio Receiver Suggestions?
Hi guys!
Wondering if anyone has gotten a custom in-dash receiver installed on their xA?
I'm looking through and trying to find of any of those that would work flawlessly and fit perfectly. Preferably with AD2P BT support and Aux.
Been looking at this one for a little while now, can't decide if it's worth taking my dash apart to try it out and if I don't like it, don't want an extra hassle with it. Anyone has good recommendations?

You can go with just about any 7" double-din reciever with a mounting kit. It doesn't have to be specific to Scion.
I'd suggest going to your local stereo shops and electronics outlets and compare several units and find the one that suits you best, then shop around for the best price. Just about all of the latest receivers are going to support BT, with most of the higher end units having the A2DP support for streaming music from a mobile device.
As far as a product recommendation goes, I would be sure to check out the Pioneer AVIC Z-series if you really want all of the state-of-the-art options and GPS Navi.

Thank you for the reply. I've checked out a few others as well, and one in particular that I liked was Pioneer Appradio 3, but hate the hassle of connecting the phone to perform most of the functions..
Ill most likely look into getting the Z-series one.. But then on the second thought, I really do care less about having a GPS app in it.. Really liking this one: http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PU...s/AVH-X5500BHS
Goes for ~$325 on Amazon.
From what I understand, I'll have to buy my own bracket/harness with any receiver that I buy?
