How cheap are we talking?

We sell 3 diff. models that I can think of.

This is the Audiovox. Only thing I don't like about it is it dosen't have a memory, so everytime so shut off the car your movie starts over. Plays MP3's, can be mounted vertical or horizontal, and has a fornt a/v input for plugging in other video sources if your monitor dosen't have more than one input.

This is the AcceleVision. one thing I don't like about this is the fact that it has a drawer instead of a slot load. has good skip protection but I don't like the idea of the disc sitting in a drawer like a cd-rom drive. It has a built in tv tuner, plays MP3's and has front inputs as well.

This is the Audiobahn. I like this one. I have used it numerous times in diff. installs and haven't had any issues yet. It does MP3's, has an a/v input, has a memory so it will keep the spot it left off at, and can be mounted horizontal and vertical. The one thing I really like about the audiobahn is all the connections are on the side of the unit in a single plug. Makes it easier to put in glove boxes where depth is an issue.

The top 2 are $199 and I think the audiobahn is slightly cheaper. Maybe $179. Hope this helps somewhat.

I say go with the Audiobahn to match your other equipment.

This is one of the in-dash dvd player that I've been thinking of getting....

key selling points on why...

1. all the buttons are there so you don't have to use the remote to browse your dvd.
2. front audio/video hook up
3. actuall din size player
4. you can iso mount
5. price ($119)

reasons why I'm still thinking...

1. need to see it in person to check quality (so if anyone has one lemme know your thoughts about it.)
2. brand and dependability (this is the MAIN reason why I'm still thinking about it.)

need more info click the link ..:http://www.mp3playerstore.com/stuff_...d/dvd/FD-5.htm:..

hope this helps,
Hubert

wow, I like that. I think I might get one just for the hell of it. But does it skip on the road? and it can be installed to a 12volt system right?

I just got one of these new 1/2 din DVD players two weeks ago. They can be mounted vertical or horizontal. Also, they will mount into any 1/2 din EQ size opening. They have video and audio outputs along with digital audio out. They also have video and audio inouts for that Playstation , Xbox, Camcorder etc. I work at a car stereo shop.

Stylis,

Yeah I forgot to mention that yes its 12volts and has memory on it. So if your using an mp3 cd/DVD you'll be at the track/scene you were on when you turned your car off. One of the key selling point of this dvd. Also they the same dvd with built-in tv tuner for $20 more. Not really a big fan of tv tuners but thought I'd throw it out there!
