that looks nice piston.. That is the area im going to do when its nice outside... what kind of noise would u say that helped with?

 

Well it will help with some of the most noticable rattles, but It is never ending. once you fix one rattle/vibration, you will notice another.

well i just been working for hours dynmatting and ran out, Its really turning out nicely, and the difference is amazing when u tap the metal outside that is dynmatted from the metal that isnt.. Just wondering if dynamat can be overlapped? I did that a few times

 

yes, you can overlap it on its self....
it does not really add any benefit doing it, but it can't hurt...

 

well i wasnt doing it for benefit, but just to cover up open holes

 

i did not think you were doing it for added benefits...more like it just happened that way...

 

this may be a dumb question, but what do you do regarding the screw holes that get covered up by the dynamat?

 

cut the dynamat around the holes...

 

oh, ok. sounds simple enough. :D

 

anything the might need to be taken out for servicing (like the fuel pump cover...or wires) do not cover up.
cut around and nuts, bolts, wires or plugs...this will be a blessing if/when you need to srevice those areas.
