A fuse you can use...
I like to run a fuse distribution panel for all my electrical accessories (ie. alarm, modules, lighting, etc). So it was my first time having to tap for power at the battery on my Xb.
Attached to the positive terminal at the battery is a fuse panel with about 5 outputs, one of which is not being used. It's covered with a red plastic shroud. One is the main fuse, one is for the ABS, and one is for the alternator. To get to it, all you have to do is loosen the 12mm nut that holds the main cable and fuse panel to the top of the battery clamp. See the picture below:

In the picture above, all of the yellow fuses are 60 amp. The silver fuse is 100amp and the opening for that 100 amp will allow a 4 gauge wire to be run. The unused section on the right will only let you use about an 8 gauge wire so you'll want to order a 60 amp fuse.
Problem is, when you go to the dealership, it takes them FOREVER to find this fuse. The two dealerships I went to took at least 5 minutes each trying to find what I described.
So, the part number is 82618-52010 and should cost you around $2.97 and will have to be special ordered most likely. Longo Scion did not stock it. Here's a picture of the fuse in the bag and after it was installed.

All you have to do is remove the two 8mm bolts and then screw in the fuse and your wire with ring terminal. This terminal is perfect if you are running an amp that doesn't require more than 8 gauge or 60 amps worth of current.
