Not enough information... amps? speakers? Explain the system in detail.

amp's speakers and everything else is irrelevant. listen to my problem. highs and mids not recieving music, they are not ran through an amp, they are wired to my h/u through my harness i got. just a normal stereo setup. h/u with 4 speakers into it, and amp and subs through rcas

Your speakers are relevant; are they factory or aftermarket? Who hooked them up? You spoke about 2 different head units, what are the two? Is one of them the stock radio? How did you hook the speakers up to the radio? Did you splice the existing wires and connect them to a harness or did you run all new wires? The phrase "just a normal stereo setup" tells me nothing. There are so many variables that you aren't explaining how do you expect anyone to help you?! If you are as impatient with hooking up your stereo equipment as you are with explaining your situation to people trying to help you, my guess is you were careless and fried something.

did you use a pioneer radio???
if everything is run through the radio and only the subs are playing, you most likely have a grounding problem with one of your speakers.

if its not covered under warranty, throw the radio out (depending on the model) and go buy a new one.

we def. need more information though, so keep us posted.
