I have that ALPINE and yes it takes some getting used to but the sound quality is exceptional and nothing can come even close to its supreme versitility with tuning out your entire system! As a matter of fact the quality of sound this thing produces is still yet better than the standard factory ALPINE package put together for the Envy Green XB's!! I ended up with one after my insurance replaced my JVC! You know the all brushed aluminum Arsenal series with MP3 playback and a 7 band Parametric EQ built in. Well I thought Id never move from JVC, but after I played with the replacement I was completely blown away! That time correction thing is a pain to master but once you figure it out you can almost make your vehicle sound like a concert hall! Also Take advantage of the built in CD changer AI link and get yourself that 25 dollar adapter cable and plug your Ipod directly into it as if you had an Auxilary input! I have a Phillips Go Gear mp3 player that just puts a complete 5 Gig jukebox at my fingertips and I cannot complain! Just way too many features to even continue! I know it doesnt have one of those fancy Screens with mulicolor and picture capable displays but if you wnat extreme power and superb fine tuning, get it! If you want fancy shmancy displays and graphics get a DVD player and might as well get some ear plugs! Cause you can TRY to get good quality sound out of one of them things, but GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!
