Default HID not working right, NEED HELP!!!!

So here is the deal guys, hopefully I can get some help. I just orderd my HID in and went to install everything today, got the H4 kit, now the blubs that came in the kit only have 2 plugs, not 3 like the stock H4's. I ran all the wires, pluged everything together, and reconnected the battery, and BOOM nice bright HID lights, now there is only one problem, THE HEADLIGHT SWITCH WAS NOT ON, what the h@#L is going on. I put the stock bulbs back in and everything works fine, but as soon as the HIDS are hooked back up, they stay on even without the switch being on. Anyone have any clue as to what is goin on here, any help would be great, Also does any one know how to get both High and Low beams to work. Thanks In Advance

You are going to need to use some diodes... diodes prevent current from going to the HID unit when not powered... and not to mention some relays. I will have to re-confirm this on my setup, and let you know tomorrow.

most cars(like hondas) are constant negative and positive switch...
where as scions are constant positive with a negative switch..

u will need a relay to convert polarity

All of those answers have been floating around my head, just wasn't really sure. If I could get a wiring diagram that would be great, and what type of Diode is need? Also, any answers on the high/low beam thing?

Default HID Problem

Did you buy the JDM HID kit? I expect the same problem in my install, I was hoping my kit was just a little 'Misunderstood' by myself.

Please post any resolution you get. Thanks!

weather the kit is JDM or not.. its usually common sense, and u should be
experienced before wiring stuff like this..

u need to post a link to your actual kit.. so me or whoever else can see how it is..
what brand is it? who made it? what genreration is it?

The kit that I got was the McCulloch H4 kit in 10k. The kit only has 2 wires really, a white power I guess then a black ground. i can't seem to find anything on them, I bought them from a freind who just happen to get the wrong bulbs for his car. I was looking at Suvlights.com and was thinking about buying a harness from them, just need to know which one to get. Please help me stop the pain
