It might just be the outer wheel like the red and grey optional wheels for the US xA / xB.

If so why the pic of the correct Toyota airbag we all want? They should just sell that emblem from the bags.

My only guess is because it's off of the Japan xA (isn't that the Ist anyway?). They show the scion airbag for the US wheel and I know that one does not come with the airbag.

Call and find out, maybe you'll get lucky.

Says Toyota Japan xA Steering Wheel so it's for the IST. NEVER buy anything online before you ask the right questions... So email them about the airbag..

This is the 04-05 Rav 4 airbag, which looks like the 06 scion airbag.

$450? should be under $100 why are these parts so expensive? No reason for it accept a bloated Auto industry rip off artists club

hey Jeff if you could find a blown bb airbag you could probably get the cover fixed and mount a dead bag into the car for shows

How F'd up does the cover get when it blows? Maybe just find a blown cover with the right sized emblem and recycle it onto a Scion bag.

I hate it when I am not sure if one is being sarcastic, but anyway it's not really a big deal. I just am an old man and have not sense of humor, HAHAHAHA!

I hope people find the Toyota bag for what it's worth. So many people (including myself) ruin parts to save money or spend ridiculous amounts of cash on parts paying 400% more than they are worth.

I am gonna look for the rav4 part and see if I can't get a better price. Then I will let you guys know

IT'S AN AIRBAG

NOT JUST A COVER

Cars can get totalled just because their airbags went off.

oem price to replace both airbag modules is always more than $1,000.

We have yet to see if the links I gave have a airbag as well. On the not being a cover thing though? uh yeah I know. Was not saying it was a cover.

PS: I am seeing some pretty hefty prices for the Scion OEM. steering wheel itself is $490.73 at a discount.

The pictures I've seen, the airbag looks like a seperate part that sits under the cover. I'll have to pull mine off for a closer look but I'm pretty sure the airbag is made up of different parts.

Yes definitely it is. But who would want to take it apart? Not me I would not want to mess up the system. But it's a very curious question now isn't it.
