how to reset the ECU ?

Default how to reset the ECU ?

after i install my ground wire kit , i drove my car no more that 200 feets and the car stop working, all the ligths on the dash turn on, i turn off the key and restart the car evrething is working , but my MPG is about 20 MPG after that maybe is something wrong ? maybe i put the cable in the wrong place,

i drive on

2005 xb 6000 miles
STRUP headers and exaust
18" wheels
Bb ground wires kit

Go to the tech section, its under ECU reset. Very easy to do, make sure you read the whole post.

just unplug your battery terminal and leave it unplugged for about a minute. plug it back in and you should be good to go

Go to the Tech Section, Mike (Mikochu) shows you how to reset w/o unplugging the negative terminal, and by pulling a specific fuse.
