Default If you have HID headlights, please read!

Hey all, Im doing some research here to see if someones claim has any real life credibility..

if you have an HID kit, please tell me..

-Which Car you drive?
-Which kit you have?
-Does it provide a relay harness(power from the battery)?
-Did you use your own upgrade harness?
-Have you had any problems with burnt out switches, melted or burnt wire, etc?
-Length of time with HID?

ex..

-Which Car you drive? 2003 dodge srt-4
-Which kit you have? xtec 5000k
-Does it provide a relay harness(power from the battery)? no
-Did you use your own upgrade harness? no
-Have you had any problems with burnt out switches, melted or burnt wire, etc? no
-Length of time with HID? about 3 months

thanks all!

wow.. this is from a year ago!

anyway the reason i wanted to know was because a hid "snob" was telling me hids often burn up factory harnesses, tho i never found a case of it online.

i still stick to my impression that they are relatively safe.. you see i posted in this thread a year ago and i havent had any issues whatsoever
