It's a convex mirror. It helps to remove your blindspot...

you got any close ups of the vents closest to the windows? those areas look like they'd be easily fuked up. looks better in the day pics, got too much lighting in that thing, lol... looks very nice and clean though.

Thats actually one of the places that they made sure was taken car of. Because I pointed and _____ed about it. Then the guys sanded the hell out of it and made sure it was smooth, believe me not one section was missed when they were sanding. I should know because I had to help clean up the shavin all day!

Initial sanding is with 100 grit to remove the stock texture. When you're done, you're dash will literally look like it's velvet. 2nd stage sanding is with 220 to smooth it out a bit. Heavy coat of flexable primer next, followed by 400 grit sanding. Another heavy coat of flexable primer, followed by 600 grit sanding. At this point, it's crazy smooth. Then you spray on a couple of coats of adhesion promoter, allow it to dry, and then you're ready to paint. Just make sure you really want to do this mod before you commit to sanding, cause unless you buy a replacement dash, you can't go back!

Peace,
m@

I can tell you in person this looks as clean as it does in the pictures... They (M@,ScionJohn) put a lot of time into this (including someone taking a sick day ) to get it done just right, if M@ is anything, it's patient about doing something right...
