Default Lock-unlock-be quick!

I thought is was just me, but its happened several times and today I verified it did happen, if you unlock with the key fob and then don't go into the vehicle for say a minute, it locks back up by itself. I unlocked put the keys in my mouth, picked up my parcels and went over to the Xb and the lights blinked and the Xb locked itself, I had to put down everything and start over. Is my Xb possesed?

It's not possessed. If you read the manual, you'll find that it's designed to re-lock itself after 30 seconds if the doors were unlocked with the fob and none of the doors are opened. It's just a safety feature so your car doesn't remain unlocked if you hit the button accidently.

That is very annoying. The only way to get around that I believe is to install a aftermarket alarm. They usually give you the option in the setup to auto relock or not. I have mine turned off - I hate getting there and having it relock seconds before I grab the handle!!

I'm glad they don't have auto lights. I can't count the number of times I've been blinded by Chevys who have high beams on because they have auto lights and the driver didn't notice they were on bright.
