He was not referring to their subwoofers at all, at least I hope he wasn't because subwoofers are irrelevant to this thread. He was talking about components and coaxials, which is what the orginal post was about.
So next time try and pay closer attention Mr. UrbanDrum.
:? Thanks for your two cents though. :?

Phoenix Gold 6" Titanium Elites powered by a Phoenix Gold Titanium 600.2. Each speaker's getting 150W RMS! and they have a 3" voice coil! That combo should be under or near a grand. I say this as I just paid retail ($1600) and found out you could buy them online, OUCH!

Ok so i have to give my two cents. As far as speakers go there are few that are
great. The Rainbows are very nice and at 7k they should be! Now i personally like
Focal, Dynaudio, Morel and Mb Quarts Q's. There are a whole lot of really ok speakers out there which include some of Mb's line , Boston, Crossfire, JL, and many more from the major brands . The single biggest advice any audio person can give you is LISTEN TO YOUR OWN MUSIC and listen to as many speakers as you can
and the most important thing to remember is get what u like and will work in your system. System design is now your best friend. I hope this helps

hell I'm running my stocks up front and killed the rear's with a proper set up you don't need the rear speakers. I have a JL Audio 300x4 75 watts to each door and mid/tweet in the dash. Of course I do have the Eclipse 8443 with all the bells and whistles to even things out, I'm thinking about some ID mid's and some wave guides up front. Still not sure yet though.... gotta love being into sound.
