Default Problem with luminics bulbs

I ordered my first pair of luminics bulbs and had them for about two weeks and the left one blew out. They told me i probably touched the bulb with my hands and mest them up. I sent them back got my new pair made sure to wear latex gloves and the same thing happened again. This time the part the bulb plugs into is melted any ideas?????

search if your friend. I had a similar problem but it was in regards to the wiring harness. The part that actually hooks up into the bulbs.

bubblemyster, i think we are forever tied to luminics because of the damn wiring harness. use the search function, we had a longer thread discussing these problems.

I didn't try Luminics out although it is cheaper than Piaa...
I bought Piaa 9006 4000k Xtreme White Plus and it works great since last month installation... I bought them on ebay or 35 a pair...
looking for 9005 4000k for around that price also...

Yea your harness got messed up. Are you running Pure Blues? If so they run at 55 watts. The stock harness runs at 50. So it is to much for it. Had the same thing happen in my car. I got the plug and play harness from Luminics and am very pleased.

even if u run pure blues... your harness will be fine..
in the event that u want to give yourself piece of mind for installing any aftermarket headlight... get yourself a high wattage plug n play harness... i think there is a brand called KYO and they sell one.. for about $10-20
i was thinking about it... and i dont need the harness...

and i love my low beam luminic pure blue and high beam jdm yellow.. i might go all jdm yellow in a few weeks hehe
i love that deep yellow richhhh color!
