is there any trick to removing the trim around the radio?
dont just want to pull on it ...thought i ask 1st

ok sorry all i got it

 

Pull off all three heater *****.

Remove the two screws, one under left ****, one under right ****.

Pull straight out towards the rear of the car on the bottom edge of the silver trim that goes verticle from the heater ducts down to the bottom of the dash on each side of the radio. You might need to pry it out with a screwdriver or something. If so, wrap it in a soft cloth so you don't scratch the trim.

Once the bottom is free, work your way up and wiggle it out from the top.

Repeat in reverse order to put it back
