Default Scion xA Steering Wheel Radio control... wires?

Can anyone give me the information for the wiring colors and which button they are for? thanks

Look at the list of all the posts in the ICS/Interior section. See the Wiring Diagramms at the very top of the page? The answer is there.

As long as it is the 2006 wiring diag., the switch you are talking about is listed as "combination switch" in the "Audio System". The component number is C7. There are 3 wires shown coming out of it. No wire has a specific single function since 5 different commands are shared between 3 wires. This is done by switching on the different voltage inputs by using resistors inside the switch. Also the "Audio system" does not show 2 more wires to the switch that are actually shown in the "Taillight and Illumination"- they are for the LEDs that light the switch up when you have your lights switched on.
So total of 5 wires.

oh I was wanting to use it for like fill and dumps for an air system if I ever did one

is it possible to use like.. volume up as front fill, volume down as front dump
track up as rear fill, track down as rear dump

and mode as all 4 dump?

Probably not possible. May be you can have only 2 functions using the steering wheel audio switch. It is possible however to add buttons to the steering wheel and just use the stock wires.
