Default Swapping out the bazooka?

Ok I just recently traded in my cadillac for a 2005 scion xA. The scion was pre-owned and has the bazooka sub already installed. I was wondering if there is a way to use the wires that are there for the bazooka to wire up my subs and amp from my cadillac. I have a 300-watt rockford fosgate sub and 2 300-watt 12 inch subs that I am looking to put in. So basically I was wondering if it is possible to use the wiring off the bazooka to hook it up. If not then is there a plug that I need to get or does the cd player have the rca plugs on it already? Thanks for any help.

Personally i wouldnt run the your amp off those wires, most bazooka's are run off a 10ga wire and some times an 8 ga. The 10 ga will not support your amp, the 8ga would be a little better. The signal for the bazooka is proably just high leveled in from the radio using the speaker outputs of the radio and there are no rca's on factory radios. So best thing you can do is check what size wire is running from the battery to the bazooka, if its a 10 ga, upgrade it to atleast a 10g if not a 4ga just incase you ever get a bigger amp. Also buy some rca's and run them to the deck and buy a low level adapter( pack adapter)(changes speaker outs from the deck to an rca output) hook it up and your amp wiring will be ready to go. Good luck to ya.

You'll have to run all new wiring for your aftermarket amp and subs.... If I'm not mistaken, the plug for the bazooka tube from Scion only carries 14 or 16ga. wire for power and ground... You'll need 8 or 4ga. power and ground plus a Line Level Converter to get an RCA signal from the stock deck

Ok so I picked up a converter today for the rca signal and am just wondering do I wire it to the speaker out wires which should be wired to the bazooka now and then run my rcas from there? Also would somebody mind sending me the amp installation guide that is on the site? I try to open it buy something is wrong with my parents computer and it just freezes when I do. Thanks... o yeah the email is Si_vis_pacem__para_bellum@hotmail.com
