The European made Osram Silverstar H4 bulbs are 50% brighter at 160 feet than other H4 bulbs. This is different than the Sylvania Silverstar bulb made in the US. You can find the Osram lamps for $28 per pair at www.casporttouring.com

The Luminics are a bluer bulb with excellent output compared to other high color temperature (cooler color) H4 lamps.

I have the Sylvania Silverstars, and they are awsome, the light is so pure, just like daylight, and fricken bright too! I get flashed alot. I have no Idea about the Luminics, but from what I see, go by the color, do you want Blue-ish, or White/Clear light? I personaly dont like the blue.

You do realize getting flashed a lot is not a good sign... I've had my blue luminics for a god 3-4 weeks now and nobody has flashed their ligths.. even cops pass my by like nothing... (i hope i didnt jinx myself here lol)

Go HIR. I've seen cars with the luminics and the silverstars and the HIRs are brighter, by far. I drive on dark roads quite often and the HIRs are about twice as bright as the stock lights, and maybe 50% brighter than luminics and silverstars. All you need is a dremel.

You also realize that my head lights are higher than yours, right in peoples eyes? I was just demonstrating how bright they were on the low beams, I have never been pulled over for lights, and I have had them for seven months. and I second the guy before me ^^ if you can, go HID.
