You know... I thought the same thing... LOL. At first I was like cool, a cover to hide my stereo... but I'm leaving the stock one in, so I don't want people to think I have a super stereo hiding behind my cover and attempt to get at it. The cover looks nice, but it could end up being a curse.

I also recently installed the tcover. Its cool. Turn the key and door opens. Turn the key off the radio cover closes. I think its great especially with a nice radio. If anyone is intrested in the tcover and wanna check it out or need someone to install it in the central jersey let me know.

Did it here as well. Great product, not nearly as difficult to install as it looks. Measure twice, drill once

No damage and easily able to reverse the install to go back stock later. Not sure why you would, but able to.

Had the same question as Raven...does it come with the capacity to add a switch that allows you to open and close while the engine is on?

I just got my tC last week and I'm going to be installing this device. The only thing I'm concerned about is some valet jerk off trying to manually open it or something.

sometimes you just have to valet when it's either packed or you don't want to worry about someone hitting your car with the car door of their 1986 cutlas or something.

I've got the TCover and it's way worth the dough, especially if you hang with other tC owners... cause they always go WOW!

I've also shown it to a couple of dealers and they love it too and want to add it on as an aftermarket add in for their tC sales...

It's a little loud at it's fastest setting (you can set the speed)... so I'd suggest setting it a little slower, but most actually like the sound...

It is also really nice to just pop the switch down and cover your stereo while driving... It'd be especially cool on an '06, cause you still have the stearing wheel controls and could drive "Hidden"
