Bad news & Good news.

The bad news, I got an e:mail this morning from my sources in Japan and they tell me that the armrest was discountined. (Maybe this is why I got a good price?)

The good news, a newer model has been made in it's replacement. I have requested a sample of the new model and will keep everyone posted as soon as it arrives.

Yet, another update.

The company in Japan is really being d#@ks about the armrest. My sources are being given the runaround. But, I have learned the company has a sister company here in the US. I've contacted them and given them the model number and requested if I might be able to buy any from them.

In the meantime, I will be placing one that I have on eBay hoping by this weekend. Will post the link once placed on eBay.

Don't forget to let us know about your eBay auction! Will you have a buy it now or a reserve?

I had hoped to place it on eBay this weekend but looks more like Tuesday or Wednesday after the holiday.

As stated in this post earlier, I found the armrest to be a little low for taller persons. I've modified the one in my xB to better fit my needs. I will also include a taller raiser to fit larger persons but was unable to finish it in time at work.

To be fair with everyone, there will be no "Reserve" nor a "Buy it Now" option.
Starting bid will be well below any other armrest avaiable for the xB or xA

Sorry everyone.

I'm caught up on a new project for Nextel that is a rush job and taking much of my time recently.

I will place the armrest on eBay and post the link later this evening. I'm unable to finish the new raiser in time for the auction. All that needs to be done are the holes drilled for monuting the armrest to the taller rasier. So, what I'll do is list it without the new rasier and if someone from this site wins it, I'll include the new rasier for free! (You'll have to drill the holes)

Good Luck!

Sorry for the delays!

The armrest is finally on eBay.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=5920075828

For Scion Life Memebers Only, I am including the custom made raiser for persons who like a higher armrest like myself. I didn't have the time to drill the holes on the custom made part so you'll need to drill the holes.

Just let me know your confirmed SL screen name at the end of the auction. Otherwise, no name, no raiser.

For more information just read this whole post.

Enjoy!
