Anyone tried using velcro in the interior to hold things temparily? I'm wondering if it could be used or if it will mar the fabric on the ceiling etc.

Hmmm...I have adhesive-backed velcro holding a phone holster in place under my parking brake. We also have the canvas cargo liner in the back of our xB. It is held in place partly with velcro which grabs the carpet in the back. I don't think I would use it on the headliner.
