Default Vinyl Headliner?

Has any one done a black high grade vinyl headliner in an Xb before? Or would that be to dark for the interior.

it would actually be "lighter" than the slightly more comon suede headliner. The vinyl would reflect more light around the cabin.

Go with a nicer 'pleather' type material, would give a nice leather appearance to the roof - something a little different.

As long as you don't cover the pillar covers in a dark material also, the cabin will be fine.

Keith, Prices?

If your parnter can do it for less than 300 Flat, he's got a customer in San Jose.

Are you kidding?
I could buy the materials, drive from Dallas to California to get the work done and drive back for the price that what a local shop was trying to charge me to get this done to my box.
they were wanting to charge me $1,800.....no joke.
Can you believe that ____!

Well I have a sunroof and my headliner is like attached to it somehow. I wouldn't want to jack anything up....

Can you believe that poop!
Cheese n Rice! Apparently I need to add a sideline to my business.

My liner's black suede. Spent 'bout $100 on materials and 'bout an hour or two (tops) taking the liner out, recovering and reinstalling it. - and I don't get cheap, I do stuff right.

Good God - for you local guys... if $1800 is the going rate - I'll do it for $900. Leave me your car for 2 hours.

so what is the local price?

As long as you don't cover the pillar covers in a dark material also, the cabin will be fine.
Why ? I was thinking of painting the pillars something close to the oem color.
