Default Wanting headunit input...

So I think its time to yank our the OEM Pioneer HU and put something else in...

Recommendations of headunits to look at based on the following requirements - I don't need video or GPS, would like to have bluetooth functionally, sirius is a must, and a front aux port would be awesome but I was curious if I could keep my OEM 3.5" jack as a just in case

Kenwood KDC-MP2035 looks to fit the bill but by the time I add bluetooth and sirius its $380 so I figured I could buy a "nicer" headunit. Through all this I don't want to break the bank.

Recommendations??? Has anyone kept the OEM 3.5" aux jack with an aftermarket headunit?

i replaced mine with the kenwood ddx-6019...but i got video and tv tuner..i added the bluetooth to it also..but it cost me about a grand..as far as the oem jack....i had to tap in to the wires and use rca jack and wire them to the stock harness and pluged the rca in to the aux input jack on the head unit..used it for awhile to kenwood cam out with the ipod video cable.....

How about a JVC KW-XG500 for $229.95, http://mobile.jvc.com/product.jsp?mo...hId=148&page=1
It's a double din HU so it fits perfectly and it looks nice. Looks like it might even support our steering wheel controls. It says its SAT radio ready but im sure theres an exta part you have to buy for it. Although I don't think it supports blue tooth. This has been on my wish list for some time. Anywayz, just a suggestion.

JVC KW-XG700 is looking nice
Bluetooth can be added, satellitle ready, both aux port and USB up front. See where I can find one to purchase.
$479.97 for all of it - tad much but I may just have to pull the trigger and do it

If only their was a built in BT w/ satellite capabilites and a front mount port

Amazon.com has the JVC KW-XG700 for $200.

If you go to crutchfield.com and buy the Bluetooth and Sat add-ons from them you can save some money there also,

So your total would be:

    save $50 (^_^)

So at this point I might just scrap Bluetooth since its seems to double the cost of stuff.

Kenwood KDC-X491 looks decent but $50 for sat radio and $200 for bluetooth.

Man, stick with the bluetooth! I have a sony with it and it is great! I have the scosche bluetooth transmitter on my mp3 player so it plays right into the deck! Cannot beat it. I was also at Best Buy and their Insignia brand has bluetooth built into their 4 gig player I believe.

Checked out the Pioneer DEH-P7900BT and its a nice unit - can stream music from my cell.

Pioneer DEH-P7900BT and Pioneer SIR-PNR2 Sirius for $450

Looks like Crutchfield is who I will order it from since the receiver kit and harness come with it!
