I am in the process of mounting the midbass speakers and I am trying to deicde whether to cut out the factory speaker ans use the remaining frame or to remove the factory speaker and make a baffle. I am thinking about the first oprion because you can beat a good riveted base. I would drill the rivets and replace them on the baffle, but I have yet to find a rivet gun here in Germany...even at the hardware stores. I was going to use the Scosche adapters, but the mids are too large for them, no place to screw into!!

What was the number on the Lowes switch? I bought two from them for a recent project in my xb and they were too small!! I had do make a hole in the knockouts for them to fit into. The number was a 41 I believe.
