I like Diamond Audio and Focal's for components. Lot of people shut out the Diamond Audio's, but they are a good set of components. I have the M661 series and just a few weeks, the whole system will be installed. A few custom installations, but can't wait for it. I went a whole year without a system (it sucks without one).

I prefer the diamond S600S and MB Quart QSD216. I used to run boston acoustics and they sound great too.

Im very much of a bang for buck kinda guy, and i didnt really have too much to spend on my system. at the same time im entirely SQ oriented, a musician and an audiophile myself. I went with Infinity Kappa's, and im surprised not to have seen them mentioned before. While they may not compare to pricier systems, i think that they are an excellent value, not to mention an excellent speaker. I have enjoyed them so far, but i must say, that they require serious equalization before you can really get into them. For me, a 30 band eq on these things, running from an amp of their own was great. So if youre looking for some good sound at a good price, id def recommend my Kappa's....

my two cents..
