You don't need 3 LEDs per handle. PlasmaGlow is using surface mount LEDs which don't give much light compared to my 5mm LEDs.

4 white 5mm LEDs with resistors (non pre-wired) are $4.91 shipped.

And if you want to use 3 per handle (it will be very bright - brighter than plasmaglow's kit), it would be $5.88 shipped. Better than $35+ shipped

I can attest that the Ozium LED's are CRAZY bright... it would be cool if they came up with a plug-and-play surface mount kit like the one above that utilized their 5mm LEDs. I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

 

(rubbing chin) hmmm... a nice mod. I think I might do something like that.

 

I saw somone drill a tiny hole in the door handle (maybe 2mm diameter). They flush mounted a LED behind it so it lit up like a security light. Looked very clean. Another option if you don't want to have it glow under the handle
