The answer is yes. You need a female PTC fitting. Those are probably 1/4" NPT (Female) that you need to screw into. They may be 1/8" NPT though.

Did you buy a ViAir Compressor and a Non Viair Pressure switch?

I can tell you right now, it is a non-Viair. Viair's pressure switches are identical to just about every other pressure switch on the market. In fact I am almost positive that they use the same exact pressure switch that everyone else sells.

If you are worried about a warranty, I wouldn't. Chances of the compressor burning up in less than a year are pretty slim. Especially if he doesn't abuse it. And if burns up on day 366 he is screwed in Viair's eyes anyway.

Larry (Innovative Air Suspension) is super helpful, and extremely knowledgeable. He can tell you what fittings you'll need. And probably answer any question you had related to suspension.

You should see some of his own personal vehicles.

Sweet thanks man.

I got more parts in today! So far:

FBI:
10 Switch Box prewired
Water Separator
The Famous Rear Brackets

Innovative:
1/8" 50ft line
3/8" 50ft line

2 more boxs to be delivered today:

8gal 5port tank
(2) SS RE-5 bags

Some things to be aware of when ordering this stuff, it's not always the same as whats in the picture. The switchbox isn't clear, it's a smoked clear (which i actually prefer more, it looks nice) and the water separator from FBI looks nothing like that one, i think the one i recieved looks much better, BUT it didn't come with any fittings! They might be in the box with the bags but i'll post if they come in or not.

I'll get pics of it all soon and post up. Only a few more things left to buy ^_^

Agreed. Either get your DOT fittings from a truck parts store,. or order them online. Don't buy them from a home improvement store. Just because they are brass, doesn't mean they are quality fittings.

I know he didnt buy a ViAir Pressure switch.. It was statted as a question to him more along the lines of Why?

The Viair Pressure Switches are different although they do the same thing you have no warranty without them

if your receipt that the Viair is on doesnt have a Viair Pressure switch then you have no warranty.. so as long as you dont care about your warranty (which i personally would) then by all means use the different pressure switch

I love Viair but I have had my share of them go out and they always replace under warranty on mine

This is an Offical Viair Pressure Switch.

Yea, Larry @ Innovative told me for the gauges i need 1/8" x 1/8" PTC fittings. He told me he's sending me 2 of them to make up for the delay in shipping because they were at SEMA last week.

I'm still a little confused on how i'm going to wire the pressure switch. If i have a waterproof breaker, how would i wire it all? Larry said he would usually break the ground instead of positive, is that better? Where does the breaker go? If someone can just explain everything on how i'm going to wire the compressor, pressure switch, and breaker that would be great.

Ok, so Battery > 30amp fuse (or waterproof 40amp breaker) > Pressure switch > Positive lead @ Compressor, then compressor to ground? Sounds easy enuf to me.

Yep. I'm still trying to figure out why the SS bags didn't come in with the rest of my FBI stuff, i guess they ran out or something...

Anyhow, here are some pics of all the parts i have so far:

Anyone know how i'm supposed to wire up the switchbox? Didn't come with a wire chart and FBI hasn't responded to my email yet. The two switchs on the end without the cable coming out are bigger then the rest of the switchs, are they for F/B S/S?

More than sometimes... Most of the time.

I usually double check the wiring before I go wiring it up in my car or truck. You can do this using a single valve and a little patience. Connect a ground to the valve, and the cable to the switchbox to your battery. Then test each of the other wires in the cable. Make sure you check every single switch both directions on each wire. Then just make note of which if any switches are wired incorrectly.

When you find a problem, that is when you get to start your fun.
