Quiet and Strong air compressors???
#4
it all depends on where you mount it, and what its secured too.
If your mount to metal, with out any type of rubber spacer its going to be loud.
If you mount it to metal with a rubber spacer it'll be a lot quieter.
If you mount it to wood (mdf) it'll be super quiet and you'll barely notice it.
Viar 450/480C's are great, as well as Air Zenith.

Be sure to use the supplied extension line for the filter. Thats what make it quiet. Dont just throw it out and attach the filter directly on the compressor just cuz it looks better. Dual 400 Viair is rated to have the highest cfm's. Bigger isn't always better.

I had a engine driven York compressor in my jeep, and yeah, never knew when it was on. That's what i'm gonna try to do in the XB when i go to air.
