another thing I have been thinking I would change is mounting the solenoids to the tank instead. For now, I ran lines down to the solenoids and I see that as six more potentials for leaks. They add up quick you know. I have noticed the JDM kits have very small solenoids. I don't know about other kits out there, but Japan uses small ones. I have also founs a leveling system from a company called Roadstorm. They have an impressive strutbag for the front. They look as if a Contitech bag has been put on a normal strut. I have not found a website yet.

is it my turn to chime in?

I have ES front air struts and Slam Specialties in the rear with FBI brackets. Ever since i got rid of the ES sleeve bags in the rear, i haven't had a single problem! The fronts make a bit of noise, but ES is working on fixing that, and will most likely fix or replace everyone that has rattles (which i think thats all of us). This is the info i got from Aaron (manager) at ES last time i talked to him.

Like someone mentioned.... You could complete your bags in a weekend if you know what your doing. if you don;t and plan on installing it yourself, i would do all the research you can before the install. ask as many question as you can about things your not 100% on.

The ES fitting have "O" rings in them, and i've been told that after time, the O ring wears out and can cause a leak.

I didn't like the way the 'hard' line took bends, and i didn't feel comfotable with it on my car. Alot of people give me ____ for the type of line, fittings, and clamps i used, but i've only had 1 minor leak, and its been fixed. I used normal air line that you would find in a shop running air tools. Its rated at 800psi burst, and VERY flexable(which is my main reason for using it)! I used barbed fitting with clamps, and like i said... I have only had a small leak, and it was at a gauge which diesn't use the barbed type fitting. Some say its ghetto, but whatever. I used it, i haven't had any issues with it, and it reduced the amount of fittings(more places for leaks to occur) i would have normally used with the hard line. When i did my install, i did it right.... i only wanted to do it once(which was a retarded thing to think since i was using ES rear sleev bags-ewww).

To all of you that have leaks..... check your gauges. I checked, and checked the line, fittings, valves, tanks, everything, and i didn't have a single effin leak, and it turned out to be behind the gauge! now when i leave my car aired up over night, the front pass. side STAYS UP!

lol terrible video quality but thanks! what parts do you use? Also, is that how bags work? Like, it seems like u hit the switchs a couple of times to drop it, instead of like hitting it once to completely dump it out. Sorry i'm a n00b

The offset and width of your wheels is more important then the diameter. If you are running 17x7 et40 you'll be fine. If your running 17x9.....who knows. Also with some creative tires, you can get lower on smaller wheels, without cutting.

Also there is no real reason to spend more then 2k on a kit. Only reason I could see this being not true is if you go and buy some huge compressor.

do 19's......looks the sikest and cleanest!.those air runners are the way to go because a set of bags from anywhere else voids your warranty and they have to cut and weld. air-runner requires none of that and there is a check valve so if your compressor goes out u wount loose any air opposed to a set of bags, if ur compressor goes out ur stuck dropped.. you can get a set installed at auto fashon for 3500 out the door...good stuff !!!!

FBi's Kit is No Cutting or Welding

Also I have a Fill Port on My Tank so if the compressor goes out i can use my home compressor to fill the tnak..

And from these Post Someone Mentioned the Air Runner used Firestone 2500's in the rear so Why Would I pay that much when I can purchase the Firestones and do the work myself a lot cheaper

well from all the info ive gathered. you can get the easy street fronts and the FBI rears, so they're bolt on. no cutting.

ES up front and FBI stuff in rear, you have to do no cutting what so ever. Air Runner can void your warranty too, just like any other aftermarket product. Viair and Firestone compressors, and basically any compressor I know of for air suspension, all have check valves.

When it comes to hitting the switches, you hold the switch down or up to do what you want. Its not like hitting a button and it doing all the work at one touch of a button, you hold the switch to allow the current to power the valve to stay open.

Now... for Auto Fashion... their site sucks, i haven't seen any info on anything on their site, haha. (Had a tough time getting through the site)

free if you do it yourself, if you know what you are doing, all it costs you is the parts, any other extra part, time, and some beer.

If you take it to a shop, make sure they know what they are doing. I think $700 is good, but it depends on who it is, i can't really say. If you lived here, thats what the guy who helped me do mine would probably charge you and he KNOWS what he is doing. But I'd say it should really cost no where over $1000.

your ride would look extremely good with just putting 19's on it.. i looked at ur pro and saw ur lowering spring set-up. 19's would make it look slammed!...i personaly would go with black center and a polished lip.. good luck buddy and have fun!

Just about all of this is wrong. Air runner is just as likely to void your warranty as anything else. Most of the kits on the market are bolt on and require no cutting or welding. All Viair compressors have a check vavle built into the leader hose. You should be able to get F/B/SS bags installed anywhere in the country for less then 3k. I'd bet more like 2500.
