Yes, another Rear Disc Brake post!
OK, I finally got it mounted up on the workbench swingarm today and here are some more pictures. I need to order some new steel braided brakes lines, because the ones I ordered for the Taurus caliper won't be long enough now. I may just order the fittings and make the lines at work so I can figure out exactly how long they have to be, so I'm not guessing I also included some pictures of the kit mounted up with the stock 15" steelie!
This is the only mod to the swingarm:
Notice this is bent,

This is straight, that is all the mods to the swing arm!

Notice the caliper bracket had to be machined, about 3/4" had to come off of it!

Caliper Bracket:

Brake rotor. Only mod to it was about .050 out of the center pilot!

Scion xB rear hub. modded around the spoke area!

Now everything going together, AGAIN!!

Plenty of clearance between the kit and the swingarm!

Now mounted witht he stock 15" xB steelie!

the only thing that scares me away a bit is that the rotor is just a solid chunk of metal, no venting through the middle but then again 90% of all stoping power is on the front anyway so... but this looks GREAT! what kind of alluminum did you use for the caliper braket? no welding done so i'm guessing 2024 for strength?

After many many months of looking at this thread i thought it was going to die and nothing was going to get finished like half of the things on this forum. Im really glad to see this kit coming together and you should start making a waiting list because i will DEFINITELY be on it.
