My plans are to sell this as a complete conversion. I have to much R&D in it to just sell the brackets and other custom made pcs. Besides every part in the kit, bought or made has been modified in some way.
that's a shame I know you won't get my money.

for 800 or so you can EASILY get a used Big Brake Kit

dude, how can you say this?? This guy has worked his a$$ off for a couple of months, suffered a broken arm and was still able to pull this off with as little modification necessary. Go ahead buy some USED kit and hopefully it will not break down on you... This is a perfect modification for ANYONE looking for a VERY nice rear disc conversion, it even looks OEM. So if you want to go the cheap route go ahead, but dont be an a-hole to a person thats trying to help US out. If you dont like it: DONT SAY ANYTHING, and go on with your cheapy used kit...

How much time, do you think, would it take to do the whole swap?

Maybe 1 1/2 hours, or a little more. It took me longer, because I was taking pictures for the install instructions.

Now I have a question for everyone. Would you all like for me to start a new post, a DIY brake conversion install? Just basically everything that will be in the installation instructions? Kinda give you all an idea of what is involved. There are lots of pictures!!!

I'm still trying to get this DIY install done. And to everyone that ordered kits, the calipers are here and the modifying begins. All the parts that had to be ordered, are ordered and on the way. And everything to be made is scheduled to get on the machines, very soon. So things are looking to be right on schedule. I also wanted to post my feedback link, so people can see how I have done business the last couple of years. If you notice it has been mostly Go Kart and Quarter Midget parts, but I am getting more Scion stuff designed everyday. This is just the begining of whats to come!

last I checked I was free to voice my opinion.

I'm not knocking the quality of the kit.

BUT I AM saying that for that price one can get a used rear big brake kit that may not oem but will stop better too much in reality for most people most of the time.

and worry about a big money big brake kit?

you can buy the caliper rebuild kits for cheap and it's easy to change out the seals.

again I am NOT knocking this kits quality or workmanship.

and I bet he will get a good amount of buyers just not me.

not being a *****.

seriously good luck selling a well put together kit/system.

yeah but I mean to each his own. I think your comments seemed just negative and why people responded to you the way they did. I understand your feelings but maybe after all the pages on this thread of positive re-enforcement this guy got your comments sort of seemed off.

Yep. Pretty typical post from him sadly.

Plus... Big brakes for our cars are almost always the fronts only. If it was just the rears, who would buy a used b.b. rear conversion and keep the stock fronts?

I would much rather have a "oem" looking setup anyway, and Alliance has given us that option.

Yea It is a pretty typical post from me. I KEEP IT REAL . and have not a single problem with voicing my opinion. NO one should hold their opinions back.

did I say anything about keeping stock front brakes?

steve/bbist had his FRONT and REAR big brake kits up for sale at 1000 for BOTH.

and AGAIN I'm not knocking the build quality or oem look/quality that this alliance autosports kit should give.

Fine so why don't we drop it and get back to some friendly chat about the product. Keeping it real is good. But At times it can come off rude, esp. when the timing is off.

Take it from me I have done the same thing and it can be seen as you just being a troll. your have contributed your part to SL for sure. 13k in posts speaks for itself.
