Just do the ground wire kit install.

I did it yesterday morning and I haven't been shocked since. I did it for about $20.

 

I used to experience static shock when getting out of the car and tried a few things. The only thing that really worked is a antistatic strap.

Yeah I get shocked in my tC every time I get out. I'm used to it, i'm like a static electricity magnet every doorknob, piece of metal, I get shocked.

 

I get shocked so much I watch what I touch when I'm getting out of the car. It never fails. I get it ever single time.

 

i get it every time i get out.. the worst part sis.. i can not stand being shocked.. i dont know what it is but it drives me insane.. its like nails on a chalk board. and even worse.. i deliver pizza so i am constanly getting in and out of the car. ughh i hate it.

This Happens Almost 90% of the time fore me. Just get a good grounding kit and it should be gone for the most part.

It gets worse when the Santa Ana winds come through in SoCal... Very Dry Warm wind + cloth seats + cloth floor overs = nice jolt in the morning before I head in to work.
