Default Fender liners, splash shields

Hi all,

My 2005 xB's fender liners and splash guards are in varying degrees of disrepair if they haven't completely fallen off or gone missing from splashing too fast through puddles. I see what appear to be the matching plastic parts from some online retailers for around $25 per piece, but I'm wondering how difficult it would be to remove the remaining ones from my car and replace them. Have any of you attempted this?

Thanks in advance! And if this doesn't count as "Aero & Exterior" please feel free to relocate it. Or if someone already wrote a thread on this that I was unable to find, please let me know what I missed (I did search for it!).

Splash shields should be an easy remove and replace...most of the fasteners are either small bolts or push pins/rivets. I'd assume you could work one at a time, maybe snapping pictures of which fasteners go where, and have the entire project done in an hour or two.
