just installed my hid kit tonight, there h3 6k, installed in my projectors, very clean cut off as well, here are some pics

 

Very nice!! I am considering HID, but the numbers "frighten and scare me" like Unfrozen Caveman Lawyer from Saturday Night Live. :-) They look nice...which projectors do you have in there?

ive almost got the same set. i have one questions, at start up, can you hear like a noise coming through your stereo for lit a second??

 

no worries on the numbers to frighten and scare ya. just keep the color semi normal and you will be ok. IE dont go too low Kelvin or too high (too yellow or too purple) Its hard to judge the excat color temp without expensive equipment which they dont have in thier cruisers ;)

as far as noise goes i dont hear any thru the stereo, but the transformer box makes noise under the hood but you can hear it if the motor is running, and yeh stay away from to high of number and too low no reason to spend the money and get pulled over and have to take them out somewhere between 4k and 6k are your best bet

 

what happens if you run hid's without a relay and harness?

 

nothing, relays really are not needed, but if it makes you feel better i guess you could use them, just more wires and crap under the hood

yep never had any trouble with them and i live in a area where they are very strick about modding cars, i just wouldnt go to 8k because they are really blue
