If you want to keep the cops from pulling you over you could tint just the corner marker lights. I live in ny and the cops seem to frown on tinted anything so I did just the corners and everyone seems to like it. I'll post a picture tomorrow when its light out.

from what i hear. if it blocks light from hiting the reflector in the side of the light then its a no go or if your light output can not be seen at 500 feet

this is the vinyl im going with looks like the vinyl clears right up when light hits it. http://www.decalfx.com/Video_Smoked_...Lens_Film.html

Another option is blacking out the inside of the headlights. It will give you the dark look, but it's less obstructive to the output.

i have the black sonar projectors so they are already black, im trying to cover up the peeling clearcoat on the lenses. and im scared that if i went with just clear vinyl you would still see it.

see what im dealing with i go one way i cover them up and risk getting pulled over and on the other my headlights get worse and i end up having to spend 200 bucks to replace.

however if i do get pulled over i can allways just pull the vinyl off to try to get out of a fix it ticket.
